I have not updated this blog in quite some time. The warrior I was leveling, doesn't exist anymore...haha. Probably going to restart the journal with a new character come cataclysm. I have a Goblin named picked out, Razzil, and it will be a priest, since that's the only class I haven't leveled to at least 20 yet.
Till then, I'll probably just talk about what I did for the day, and how much money I'm making. It is my blog, and I am free to do as I wish with it.
So thanks for reading, and prepare yourself for a lot more information coming out each day.

Another Special Vendor
In Stonetalon mountains still. Found a special guys so decided to make a special post. It's another goblin vendor. He sits atop the large structure at the end of Cragpool Lake in ST-Mnts. He sold me 4 green items for under 1gold 50silver each. Going to try and sell them for at least a 3g minimum profit. Each item has great stats. If you're leveling lockpicking as a rogue or just leveling through here like me stop by this guy for some easy money.
His name is Nizzik if you want to look him up on Wowhead. Happy Muny.

Day II
So I did a little bit of leveling today. I did Hillsbrad and was stuck on finding a place to level so I went to Stonetalon Mountains. I decided to go to Ratchet first since they give a few quests to go into Stonetalon. I still hadn't done the Guns of Northwatch quest so I did that one as it was still green even though most of the mobs were gray. Kind of a waste of time exp wise but oh boy did I find a lot of items to sell on the AH. I found tons of linen cloth and a great number of greens to sell.
Then I headed on over to ST-Mnts. Did the spider and goblin quests and made a lot of spider meat, some spider silk and some more linen cloth. So it was a great day for farming stuff at this level I'm just now catching up to the quests that are actually yellow to me so it should be a little more challenging and give me a little more profit with the items that drop in the near future.
The deep moss spider eggs quest is interesting. When you grab an egg little spiders spawn that, when killed, drop extra loot. They're easy to kill and drop spiders meat and small venom sacks in addition to the gray spider parts that all spiders drop. I did not find any spider silk from them but I wouldn't be surprised if they did drop that as well.
So after collecting my auctions from yesterday I am up to a new total of 150gold 87 silver and 68 copper. I'm parked at the inn in Stonetalon Mountains so I will not be able to put all my goodies up on the AH for awhile.

Day I
Well it was a good day of money. I went from 62g to a total of 113g 72s 52c. I'm now going to be labeling my posts with roman numerals instead of numbers since I kinda screwed that all up with my earlier postings. When I get to Day X I'm just going to ignore it and pretend like today's earlier post never happened.
I forgot to mention that I talked to the traveling vendor in Hillsbrad Foothills. He wanders up and down the road between Southshore and Tarren Mill. The little goblin with his ogre companion sold me a few different items. One of the Was the engineering recipe for Goblin Jumper Cables. These sold for a great 14g on the AH and I bought them for less than a gold from the little goblin. Money in my pocket! If you're ever in Hillsbrad check this guy's wares you're bound to get something you can sell on the AH.
Also all the bears, cougars, and spiders int he area drop tons of meat that I sold for profits and the Spiders dropped Spiders Silk too. That silk sells for 1g 50s a pop on Onyxia.
Was a good day overall.
Day X
So I cannot remember exactly what happened each day up to my current level. I'm going to give you some basic guidelines I followed until I hit level 26.. my current level.
1. Meat always sells on the AH. Meat you find whether it be Boars meat, fish, Spider meat whatever, it will sell on the AH.
2. If you don't use an addon like auctioneer and you search the AH for the item you're trying to sell but can't find any use wowhead.com Wowhead is a great site that lists not only the average price for items but also the uses for them and usually a couple of helpful comments. I use wowhead all the time to see the worth of an item.
3. Use auctioneer. It makes life simple. U can set all your prices for items and then post them all with the click of one button. Having to sort each item and manually install each price for each item is just time consuming. Having an addon like auctioneer makes it so you don't have to search for the market price whenever you find an item as long as you have a good history of searches for your Auctioneer database.
4. I didn't get any professions b/c I want to see what kind of raw money I can make but picking up skinning and mining/herbalism can be great ways to make money as you level as well. There are tons of people who would rather pay 50s for some peacebloom rather than step outside their city and pick it themselves.
5. Use an alt to hold items when you can't get to a major city. I mail every white item I get when to my alt Britneyfearz whenever I am near a mailbox. It clears up my bag space and allows me to continue collecting more items to sell on the AH when I do go back to a major city. When you enter a major city just log off your leveling character and go toy our alt. Open a nearby mailbox and click return on all the wonderful goodies that you were sent. This will return all the items to your main character so you can see how much money you are actually making. (Another thing to do is just park that bank-alt in a major city and have them do all the Auctions.)
Well now I am level 26 and sitting pretty with 60 gold 82 silver and 89 copper. I hadn't been near an AH in awhile so I had tons of stuff to put up on the auction house. Hopefully they will sell and I'll break 100g before level 30. I'll afford my ground mount w/o the help of a main and I'll also have first aid maxed out as high as I can with my level. I just finished with wool so I am now selling it all on the AH for huge profits. Wool sells really well.
Another interesting thing I forgot to mention is that there are a few quests while you level that selling the quest materials is a good idea. The Paper Shredder quest in Ashenvale and the similar one in Grom'gol are the two that come to my mind. If you don't mind losing the exp you would gain from completing these quests, selling the materials is a nice way to net some gold.

Day 2
So I made a good amount of money off all my items. I am now at an amazing amount of 9g 14s 37c at level 12. It's amazing how fast low level stuff sells.
I forgot to mention yesterday that I am leveling first-aid as I level so I am using cloth I find in order to raise my skill. As soon as I "graduate" to the next cloth in first aid I will sell any extras I find. I already have max level of first aid with linen and am now only waiting for mobs that drop wool cloth. All the extra linen is now profit! I sell it on the AH for whatever the going price is and boom money made and I didn't pay a thing.
So now I am on my way to the crossroads in the barrens. I ran 1 RFC group and tanked it. Hooray Prot! It actually works! Some decent BoE greens but no boss loot. I equipped the upgrades binding them to my character and any non upgrades I found I put on the AH for what seemed to be a good value.
"Of the bear," or, "of the monkey," gear was easier than the ones who weren't categorized. I just searched for that class "of the monkey" in the AH tab and sorted the results by lowest level first. Then I could see the price curve on the items. Many times you'll find the items you're selling this way too. So I put up my new auctions and headed on down to the dreaded Barrens.
After dying a few times to a rare mob in front of a quest objective I eventually bested the Warcraft system and collected the item by timing my click with the swing of the level 20 rare. He missed me twice in a row luckily and I got to collect the item after a 3sec collection timer.
I am still collecting linen cloth and all sorts of goodies that I won't be using but selling on the AH.
When my bags do fill...and they fill a lot I have to choose what to throw away in order to make room for the new whites and greens coming into my bags.
- First thing I throw away is drinks, #1- I am a warrior no mana means I don't need drinks.
- The second things I throw away is non-meat consumable food. Any bread or fungus that says eat to restore health I throw away unless it also holds a well-fed buff.
- Third things I will throw away are grey items. These have no real use in the game so vendoring them is usually a wise choice. sometimes you can sell greys u find on the AH or in trade chat like brooms and pitchforks because people like to goof off and show their friends their "epic'ly" enchanted broom.
If u have a white or green you're picking up then start tossing out useless greys if you can't find a vendor nearby to take them from you.If u do end up with your bags full a lot think about purchasing bags off the AH or hope you get lucky and find some during your travels.
One thing I have been doing while I level is send items off to an alt. I have a level 18 warlock on Onyxia as well named Britneyfearz. Whenever I see a mailbox I send every single white and green item that I've found to her until I get to a major city. Then I log off switch to my lock and return everything to Anthaknee. It's an easy way to keep your bags free of all the clutter.
----------
So I'm level 18 now on my warrior as well and prot is shaping up to be nice. I have to have a shield out to interrupt spell casters at this level so being prot is really nice. I flew to org, trained and posted my auctions. I found a few chests while leveling today and have a few peacebloom, copper ore, and light feathers. Light feathers weren't from the chests but from the harpy's and plainstriders in the barrens. I put these on the AH and will log off for the night to see how they sell.
My potions are stacking up, not sure if I should sell them but I'll think about it...

Day 1
Character Creation: so I had to decide what class to level and I decided on a Troll warrior. I've got just about 1 of every class above level 15 except a warrior and paladin. I think mostly I'm just interested in seeing whether Prot is a viable leveling spec now.
My character's name: Anthaknee of Onyxia (US)
I made a decision that while leveling this character I would not send him any money from a high level character nor run him through any instances with the help of a high level friend as that would ruin the numbers. I did however buy and send Anthaknee the Bind to account Heirloom shoulders that give the wearer 10% increased experience from mobs. He won't find as many goodie items as a starter character would but I also just want to fly through these levels as fast as possible and see what kind of money can be made. I'm guessing a great amount.
-------------
I'll start with level 10 since before that you'll probably fall asleep.Pre-level 10 is simple questing and selling all the greys that aren't upgrades to your gear so you can afford the new abilities that come with levels.
By level 10 I had a nice stockpile of Boar's Meat, Linen Cloth, Malachite, and all sorts of other goodies that I did not vendor trash(sell to a vendor). Any item that is white is an item that is used somewhere in the world of warcraft to do something for the player. Boar's Meat sells surprisingly well on most servers. Hunters use it to feed their pets and keep them happy.
After a good amount of leveling in Durotar I headed to Orgrimmar to see Thrall, leader of the Horde!!!
Seriously though guys he had a quest for me... I'm serious... this isn't a RP realm don't worry.
Since I was in Org I now had the luxury of going to the Auction house for the first time. I, with my paltry 5 silver and 27 copper started placing all my white and green items on the AH for market value. I sold my boars meat for 50s per stack of 10. I've gotten 1g per stack before but that day they were 50s so that's what I put them up for.
I put my auctions up and logged out for the night. We'll see how well I do tomorrow evening.
